On my modest but growing collection. I have never really taken the time organize my reciepts/bills of sale, etc. And I came across the reciept for the first gun I ever bought right when I turned 18. It was a used Maverick 88 with a side saddle. I bought it from a local gun store.

I got home and when I cleaned it and took the side saddle off to verify the serial number and it was wrong. By more than one number too. I called to inform them and they sounded worried. They asked me to bring it in and offered me a years worth of range passes. But then found out I was only 18 so I didnt get shit.

Thats a pretty big fuck up right? I should have pushed for some compensation! :wtc:

Heres a pic I just took.

When you put it like that, I suppose it doesn't really matter. Shit it's probably better for me. I should have never told them!

So they didn't give you a years worth of range passes because you legally bought it when you were 18?

Basically. I was still 18 when I informed them. The guy I talked to said he would speak with his manager and give me a call. That never happened tho.

Have you got a closer pic of the optics on the AR? I curious to see how it's mounted.

probably have to be 21 to shoot in the range so it'd be a waste anyway :dunno:
