So i want to broadcast sound online

    Basicly guys i need to broadcast the line in (mic) over the net so people can log into a website and go to it. Ive experimented with shoutcast but its bloody complicated. Any suggestions of programs to use??

    winamp has plugins for that
    also check out the windows utility that does it.... cant remember what its called tho... :dunno:

    I'd have to say that shoutcast would be your best bet... I don't think it's that complicating, but I haven't used it in a little while... What are you having trouble with when using shoutcast?

    You might also look into Windows Media Encoder and RealNetwork's Helix Servers also.

    Shoutcast isn't hard. If you have a router just open the 8000 port or whatever and ur ready to go
