I have to come up with a project for my digital design lab and I was looking at xbox 360 modding and some of the different chips that are out there.

Does anyone know a website that explains how these chips actually work?

I've seen stuff that can connect via SATA so I'm sure we could come up with some connection configuration pretty easily. The controls and digital stuff would be on a Xiinx xc3s200 fpga.

Right now I'm really just trying to figure out if this is even feasible or not at this point so if this is some highly guarded shit I shouldn't waste my time on let me know.

Yeah, um...there's a lot of chips inside an Xbox 360. Which one are you going to replace?

yeah the more I thought about it it would be easier-not worried about breaking something current and expensive, I have an old PS2 or even original PS.
