A&P So I tried a wide angle lens...

Discussion in 'Lifestyle' started by coughlin's law, Oct 7, 2007.

  1. I tried the Tamron 11-18mm... and I really wasn't impressed with a wide angle... I honestly feel gipped, even though I haven't purchased it -- I really can't see a good use for a wide angle lens now...

I used autofocus and manual focus... played around with AV and TV mode... nothing really worth while... :hs:

A wide-angle requires getting in the subject's face...if you're not willling to get in their face, then yeah...it'll be really unimpressive.

I don't get the point of these threads where you want an all purpose lens that covers wide to telephoto--but then you use a wide and say it's pointless.
