    My forearms are a little small, and I recently upped my weight on back day and now they fail (especially the left).

    back workout consists of
    2x8 DL
    2 or 3x8 pulldown
    2 or 3x8 upright row

    grouch, have you ever looking into wrist roller type excersizes?

    yeah i use them. they are good. Get a thick one though like in the 3in size.

    yeah i was going to say that if you hadnt replied already when reading the first post...

    didnt you say in another post that the muscle for grip strength is in the center of your arm and really small? something along those lines... :o

    yeah for crushing at least anyways. they are the muscles that suround the tendons and lie deep in the arm. There just isn't much size in them to build.

    you can crush a full soda can right? how hard is that? i think i'm gonna try... :o

    no my forarms are only like 14 inches pumped with an extended arm. I have a werid shape to them though from year of revese curls. This big golf ball sized bluge right above the elbow.

    I can crush a soda can 2 handed without a problem and 1 handed braced against the leg but that doest really count cause you can put your body weight into it. as far as i have heard no one actually blown up a soda can with just the crush of one hand. People have popped their fingers through it but not actually made it burst.

    whew, now i dont feel like a puss for now being able to do it :o

    what do you mean with 2 hands? 2 hands crushing on it, or pushing palms together on it?

    and braced against the leg? like gripping it and shoving it into your leg at the same time? confused on the wording :o

    Why in gods name are you only doing 2x8 for deadlifts?

    like palms pushing together. which most anyone here could prolly do if they tried. Grip strenght really comes into play in the speed fo the explosion, how long it take you to blow it up.
