so i think i fucked up on my bulking.

    I went from being skinny ripped at 175 to being skinny flabby at 195 even though i was getting stronger and lifting heavier. wtf did i do wrong?

    My goal was to get bigger and stronger while staying ripped since i was so skinny. Do you think I can cut down to probably 185 and be just as ripped as I was? THat would be cool if I added like 10lbs of muscle.

    lol i've seen that shit but for the past 3 months i've been eating straight healthy shit except for the weekends when i gorge on fast food and beers.

    what was the time frame?

    (not much help now. but, IMO, you should have been aiming for 1lb every other week MAX. better off with slower weight increase, as long as the strength is going up.)

    and also, its hard to answer questions as to how much you'd need to lose without pics as a reference.

    It's hard to pinpoint the time frame since i've had so much time off from the gym from nagging injuries and other shit.

    What you perceive as "straight healthy shit" may not actually be what you need.

    Post a sample diet for reference please.

    Also, eating well mon-thurs and then getting drunk and eating fast food fri night - sunday morning is not get you anywhere fast. That will seriously hold you back even though it's "only the weekend bro".

    ok pretty much what i eat everyday.

    breakfast: a bowl of oats with milk

    Lunch: 2 chicken breasts, 4 cups of brown rice, 3 cups of black beans, lettuce, cheese, tortilla

    Snack: 6-8 egg whites and sunflower seeds sporadically til i get to dinner

    Dinner: 1lb of homemade lean chili and cottage cheese

    I pretty much eat that every day.


    o yea for the weekends i eat out friday through sunday so i guess i'm fucking up on that part. Like yesterday i spend 20 bones at mcdonalds alone after i was drunk

    So let us review your diet:

    1) Low in protein. You're getting maybe 160g and this is a GOOD day for you :rofl:

    2) In one meal alone (lunch) you're consuming 400g of carbs, lol. How in the world do you expect your body to process that at once. It can't, and guess what, 80% of it is being converted to stored fat.

    3) Very little "good" fats there.

    Essentially, your diet sucks dude. And this is a GOOD DAY.... so we're not even factoring in that you eat fast food and beer 3 days a week!!
    And you're wondering why you're skinny fat?
    You need to be eating more frequently, have carbs spread out more, more good fats, and more protein.

    Go to the sticky diet in "no quarters" thread. Double up on carbs. Keep lifting. Look better.

    This is why I always have to call BS when someone says they "eat well". More often than not, their diet sucks balls and they don't even know it.
