So I suck at doing pullups...

    Will doing just the negatives on pullups help me get better at them? I just did 4 sets of 10 negatives and it was pretty hard.. :hsd: Or am I just wasting my time?

    I lift alone, and I dont really feel like asking random people for help assisting me in pullups though :ugh:
    maybe my brother at times..

    Maybe I missed it, but should these excersizes be practiced once a week? twice a week?

    do you lift at a gym? if so, most have assisted dip/chin stands, or you can work with a lat pulldown until you're strong enough

    Pull ups are much more difficult for me than chinups. I am lucky if I can get 6 with 3 seconds on each negative with just my body weight.

    you have to start somewhere.. not everyone can go bust off 10 reps.. but dont get discouraged..

    we have a assisted pull up machine at my gym, that thing has helped me and still does. I can get about 2 sets of 10 then im done with unassisted pull ups and then I hit the assist and get 3 more sets.
