    Day one, wasn't too bad (though I am exhausted since I also bike to/from gym). Hit failure early at the ends of my sets. I think I'm gonna like this routine! Gonna give it a 8 week whirl and hopefully see some good results!!

    How do my numbers look so far? Any suggestions for getting 5RM with Deadlifts & Bench or just lower the numbers?

    Wanted to see if I could do it? If I fail and not get 5x, I should stay at that weight then?

    unfortunately i dont think i ever would have failed in the 4th set of DLs...way too worried about hurting my back

    I tried gloves when I first started. It felt like I couldn't get a tight enough grip, even with tight fitting gloves. + I :love: my caluses!

    5'11"/230lbs (Down from 280 a year ago)

    Chalk is on my list of things to get.

    I've been arguing with a buddy who uses hooks when doing DL's. I'd rather have lower numbers and a stronger grip then 'cheat'.

    Not to shop lift the thread but you should try the workout routine 2000GT uses with only oly lifts.......I can't wait till I am about 5 months into this program.......sick sick sick program......

    no way in hell would i ever attempt to lift oly style. I don't need to injure myself.
