26 To be exact I put 50 rounds through it. Too small for my hands but the trigger feel was nice. Perhaps I will get a 19 or 23 I really don't know if the .40 is that much better over the 9mm.

The 26 has a little more muzzle flip over larger 9mms.

With good defensive ammo, 9mm and .40 aren't that far apart. I'd go w/ a 9mm as you can afford to shoot it a lot more often. (unless you can reload your own ammo, then I hear .40 is real affordable to reload).

My father "won't let me reload as long as I live under his roof". I think he is worried I might mess up :coolugh: .

I can't reload yet either. Don't really want to setup a reloading area in an apartment I share with three other people...

I'm tempted to do it still though... :o

As soon as I can reload though, it's going to be hard to keep from getting a .45.

I had a good time. The thing is the pistol will spend more time at the range than it will on me.

Range membership is 395 per year but if I go twice a month it is 480 a year and membership is unlimited time any time. It pays for itself.

Are you still volunteering? You might be eligible for the LE/HS discount.

    ~$475 with NS/3 mags

you're better off getting one from topglock. the models you are looking at are rarely sold (b/c everyone loves them so much) and if they are they hold their value really well so it might be like 20-30 cheaper (which in my opinion doesnt justify buying used)

yeah the 26 isnt going to be the most comfortable thing to shoot, because its purely a carry gun.

I don't know what they take for FD verification, for EMS, they just require a copy of NR-EMT or state cert card. Call up Glock LE sales and they can give you all the LE dealers in CT, tell you if you qualify for the Homeland Security discount and tell you what proof you need. 770-432-1202.

D'Andrea's in Stratford, I know they're a Glock LE dealer. As CT no longer has a magazine restriction, you should be given the LE pack, which comes with 3 full cap magazines, not the usal 2 mags. Some dealers have been known to be shisty about that.

I've put 300 through the 26 in a day. It's not that bad to shoot.

Can even put the high cap mags in there if the handle gets uncomfortable. It's pretty damn accurate despite the short sight length.

My parents are scared of me having all these firearms. Everytime they're at my apartment they're like, "Be carefull with these guns"

 I get the same thing sometimes, "there not loaded are they?" This is why I need a second safe, my SAR1 is sitting by itself at home with a 40 round mag in it, it may go on a killing spree while im at work :noes:
