I picked up the MB-D10 earlier today and played around with it for a few hours.

Now when I take it off it feels like I'm holding my D40.

 I never thought the grip would compliment the D300 this well.

Now, you're never going to want to take it off. The D300 feels foreign to me w/ out it. :o

You need a different battery / battery insert. Not worth it unless you're doing sports or monstrous spray and pray.

I don't see how... but I guess I'd just have to hold it to see how it'd feel. :dunno:

Big manly hands need a grip, not soft girly hands.

    Yep.

AA's get you to 8FPS and it comes with the tray already.

what are you talking about bro?

I just use 8 AA's and get 8fps just fine.

way better than spending shit tons of money on nikon batteries and lasts forever.

I'm talking more about the placement of the shutter release button. I don't understand why they have to go and be 'different' when the two big boys put the button at the top corner. I think that has a better feel and 'completes' your grip or the grip. Having it so low just doesn't seem to make sense to me. :dunno:

It just seems odd, and like I said, I guess I have to hold it to see.
