LT1 Corvette style Fuel Rail covers.

As far as I know, they should be a direct bolt in, they will look good, and it'll give me an excuse to get rid of that god awful homeplate baffler.

I actualy like the home plate when it's nice and polished up. However it traps alot of dirt under there. You're going to have to remove that stupid bracket though. Have you done you're intake yet?

Nothing actually. And hopefully it will stay that way. This car is my daily driver, and any real money I put on the car will go into my Camaro first.

However... it would be a shame to not put the fuel rail covers on since its an LT1. Therefore, I could be like, "Yeah, its got a Corvette engine." and people will be "Bullshit asshole." and I can be like, "Yeah, it does, look." and I can pop the hood and show them.

Any real money I throw into it will be for 3.73 and posi traction. But Im enjoying my current gas mileage, so I think Ill keep it that way...

Not too much dirt underneath last I checked. I already removed it once to see what I was working with. I haven' dealt with the bracket yet, but I had a few Impala guys say I can just unbolt it.

I haven't done the intake yet. Im just planning to do a resonator plug.

I've always wanted a set for my Trans Am, but never felt like spending the money.

you dowloaded the Impala SS handbook from impalaforums yet? If you need it I can email it to you. Very good, lots of tech info from people on the board, with good pictures and diagrams.

I paid 119 for them... actually 120ish with shipping.

Same here. I had a plan for the car though so I figured the longer I put it off, the more of a chance I have of it never getting done.

I mean, when am I ever in a position to comfortably let go 100 bucks? Never really.
