I finally put enough rounds through it to be comfortable. Had my gunsmith put 3 dot Trijicon night sights on it. It carrys very well IWB.

Carry ammo is Federal 9BPLE +P+ 115 GR JHP at 1300 fps. This round has a proven street record with the Dekalb County GA pd. Reports are around 90% one shot stops. 16 Rounds of 9BPLE gives me the warm fuzzies.

    It's  all over again.

The trigger is fantastic. The only trigger that is better is my 1911. The Steyr is DAO.

Modified DAO, like Glock. Steyr's are around 70% pre-cocked; the trigger is fucking amazing. Breaks like a 1911.

:bigthumb: Wish I could carry mine...loaded. Then again, it looks like a brick attached to my hip when I wear it. I've yet to run any JHP rounds in it. Not sure how they'll perform.

So I just put my gripped hand up to the pic of your beautiful new piece to see if I could mentally feel and see myself using it. Is that normal?
