So I pretty much made the decision that I would only work one muscle group

    when hitting the gym...starting of with some cardio. Just wanted a suggested on this idea from those who hit up two groups per session.

    I do:
    Monday: Chest+shoulders
    Tuesday: Back+abs
    Wensday: cardio
    Thursday: Legs
    Friday: Bi/Tri+abs
    Sat+Sun: off (exept I walk my dog 1 mile every day of the week)

    suggestion: if you're looking to control your BF% (if thats why ur doing cardio) do it after you lift. youll already be at a good target heart rate, instead of having to warm up for 15-20min. even if youre worried about fat, more efficient to do cardio right after you lift IMO.

    Tuesday: Tri's/Forearm
    Wednesday: Calves/Traps
    Thurs: Shoulders
    Friday: Back
    Sat: Thighs

    I won't work out two major muscle group per session. I feel absolutely no accomplishment when not isolating my routine to one major group.

    Umm this is not going to work. Try something like this were you pair up major groups with minor groups
    Chest/tri's
    back/bi
    shoulders
    legs

    I Work out Mon/Tues-Thurs/Fri with Wednesday,sat and Sunday off.
    work my body parts twice a week and here's my routine that I have been using for the past 20 years:) it works why change it.
    Mon-Tues :delfts,biceps,triceps
    Thurs-Fri : legs,back,chest

    I tried using the 1 body part a day but felt I wasn't working the muscle hard enough so I went back to the old way of doing things

    right now I am doing

    chest
    quads
    shoulders
    back
    hamstrings/arms

    Cardio for 30 minutes after lifting on days I am not working legs.
