ps, its only shiny cause its got clp all over it, and it looks a little darker in daylight. My Insight MUM goes behind the aimpoint, and ya cant be having black with NVGs....sticks out like a mofo. I wouldnt want the zombies to zero in on my location.

oh and one more thing....norrells should really consider putting the stuff in an aresol can like alumahyde from brownells. Testors airbrushes can be a real pain in the ass, and i dont wanna break down for a pneumatic version.

if you want aerosol, brownells alumahyde is good stuff too. Norrells comes in bottles, and you airbrush it. I used a testors airbrush, which worked ok the first time, but once it gets a bit dirty, it can be hard to get it spraying evenly. You preheat the parts in the oven, then spray it on. It dries immideiately. Then you bake metal parts for 1hr at 300deg, and plastic stuff at 150deg (my oven only went to 170)for 1hr (you can go more, but mine was completely cured by then).
