    Wasn't too hard to put together, no real problems other than mixing up springs and things of the like. Anything I need to do before I go shoot it? :x: Stag 2H on an aero precision lower BTW.

  4. You only need to lube the rails where the bolt carrier rides (lube the rails on the carrier and then when you put it into the upper it'll get the lube where it needs to be.) There's no point in wasting lube on the body of the bolt carrier.
     
  5. Yeah, but lubing the outside surfaces of the carrier doesn't do anything. The surfaces don't touch anything, what good does lube do for them? The idea of running the gun wet is that you should liberally apply lube to parts that move against other parts. The carrier rides on 4 rails, the wear surfaces are what have to be lubed.
