    For my nipples. :hs:

The 12G ones that I was pierced with seem to be getting knocked around a fair bit while I'm "sleeping" and I think 10 would probably be a bit safer(it's what I wanted to be pierced with originally anyway). So I went to my piercing studio and spent $76 ordering 2 bluprle titanium 10g barbells with the smallest beads possible.

I find it odd that I'll spend $76 on jewelry for my nipples, but eat top ramen:wiggle:

    Slave to the Needle.

I ordered Anatometal barbells. They were only $5 cheaper on bodyartforms.com, and I wanted to be sure to get the right size. I'm also going to need them to be tapered in there, so it seemed to make sense

some people mentioned some good sites in the thread where I asked about good online stores to buy nipple jewelry. I ended up ordering 100 barbells, all paired, with different colored ends... paid about $30 total, including shipping.
    They also had titanium too.

Yes, but those sites do not offer anatometal. That's one of the best brands available for piercing jewelry, and when it comes to my nipples, I want to stay top of the line all the way.

[edit] some of them do. The ones that do charge more for their jewelry than I paid after tax from my local shop. Many of them don't even offer full titanium internally threaded jewelry that is of any quality.[/edit]

Are you sure you didn't mean to say 10 instead of 100?? Unless you bought in bulk from one of the sites, but 100 for $30 doesn't seem quite right.

    ---------

It's not the anatometal brand that's the best, it's the grade 23 titanium that's the best (6AL4V ELI F-136). They just hapen to use that. Grade 23 titanium is implant grade, so any shop that sells grade 23 titanium is going to be just as good. And as far as I know, most titanium used for body jewelry is grade 23 (implant grade). If it's not listed (on the site or in the shop) what grade they use, then you can always drop an email in their box to find out. :)

I've used many different brands of jewelry and so far Anatometal does have the best quality. Its not just in the materials, its in the manufacturing and machining of the jewelry as well.

I got them in, and they're beautiful. Unfortunately, they don't go in all the way. Half of the hole is a little too tight to "dead stretch" them, so I ordered a taper. I should be getting it within the next week.

Yeeks, I got the taper in today, and after washing it very carefully, I set up shop. The taper went in about halfway with next to no pain, then I hit a "wall." I let it sit for a few minutes and would push it about 1/4 cm at a time. After about 25 minutes I managed to get it all the way through, and the jewelry in behind it. I took photos of the entire process. I must say, my nipple is a little sore now. I just gotta psych myself up to do the right one now.
