Well, after leaving the gun shop I needed some things to cook dinner tonight. Well I drove over to the good ol' Wally World. I honestly sat there in the car for a min to decide if I wanted to OC or not. Well I slapped on the serpa and walked on in.

Grabbed all the things I needed. I think I got a few looks from some of the thugged out stock boys, but that's about it.

Walked over to sporting goods to price out some ammo and then went to check out.

No old lady called the cops (thank the lord), no babies were aborted, and really nothing eventful happened. Which I'm glad.

I'll prolly OC a little more often now. I think I just had to try it once to see what the big deal was.

Hmmm, i did once years ago when I took my truck into a Circuit City so they could install a new head unit. I wasn't gonna leave it in there so it would disappear.

But I just don't see the point in it. I mean, I just would rather no one know I have a side arm on me. Lord know if a would-be robber (I know it's a long shot) saw me then he would be sure to take me out first.

    Just my opinion. :dunno:

hell, if you were to wear a polo and jeans and tuck in your shirt, most people would think you were an off-duty cop

That's my thought. As long as you don't look like a fuck you should be fine.

I was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and my hat. I mean, I like to think I normally dont look like shit regardless of what I wear. lol

I think I just had to get it out of my system to see what it was like. If that makes any sense.

Sounds exactly like my experience except it was to K-mart to pick up a prescription, iirc.

You should OC more. More people need to do it - a right not used is a right lost.

There are pro's and con's tactially to OC and CC.

Do whatever you are comfortable with.

What states allow OC? If I open carry I'm pretty sure I have a free ride to pound me in the ass jail.

OC is GA is a gray area right? I remember someone posting the laws on it and it was a bit confusing.

It's not written in that concealment is mandatory. It just defines what concealment is and weapons that are displayed in plain view.

Wal-mart's corporate policy is to have shoppers conceal. This has been a topic several times on www.georgiapacking.org. I OC all the time and I have had the cops called on me before. Thankfully the cops that were called knew the law and asked me to conceal. I never do, unless I have a jacket on.

ACTUALLY, Wal-Mart doesn't care if you OC or CC, they just care that you comply with state laws.

That came from Corporate HQ in a voicemail to some GACarry guys who contested one guy who was escorted out of a Wally World for OC by a dumb mgr. ;)

What a pain in the ass. People need to be more educated about guns and gun laws.

I'm on the way back over to that same damn wally world to pick up some ammo. I'm gonna OC. Hopefully it'll be the same as yesterday...

I thought GAcarry had it in writing that Wally World prefers CC and Kroger cares if you comply with state laws.

I think Publix was about to call the cops on me. I have been in there nearly 100 times and this is the first time I have seen any reaction from them.

    Well....

I OCed there. Was greeted like every other person by some kind older man. Strolled over to the sporting goods and looked around for a bit. Then I had to round up the guy who was working.

After he bagged all my shit up I asked him what's the deal with carrying firearms in the store. He said he didnt give a shit, but he was pretty sure that as long as you had a GFL and complied with state laws, you were good to go.

Last I heard someone recorded a voicemail that Wally World HQ left them letting them know that. I could be wrong though. :hs:
