and I get Smash Hits. I didn't lose until I hit Extreme - Play With Me because let's face it that song is tough and I never played Rocks the 80s (but I own it :mamoru: ). Anyway, I beat Slayer, Freebird, then finally get to Dragonforce. I say fuck it and start playing it. Lots of purple tap notes that make things easier for me, I can actually complete the beginning part by tapping. I save up star power for the solos, etc. I make it past the solos. I manage to score some more star power to save me again. I lose in the final seconds of the song, but if I had just known what the tap pattern was I could have easily gotten it. So mad. I seriously hate this song. This was my first try and my best one by far. I've never gotten the star power after the solos and lose when I hit 90%.

I completed that shit on Hard and never felt bad at all. Expert on GH3 is like Super Expert on GH1 and GH2...

if you spent that time on a real instrument.........well you get the idea and I'm sure you've heard that argument 11ty times before.

but maybe one more time would help it sink in...

I put quite a bit of time into my guitar, over 2 years. The problem was that the few people I knew who played were not really interested or capable of teaching me. I didn't want to pay $80-90 a month on lessons. The only thing I was playing for at that point was my own entertainment, which it is not very entertaining when you aren't spectacular. Playing video games is far more entertaining.

:werd: thats why whenever i have the urge to play forza or gt5, i just go outside and drive my car instead. its so much easier and cost effective to drive it balls to the wall and maybe even slide off the road and crash, but shit, why use virtual reality to do it when you can do it for real and impress people that much more  :wackit:

the fact that you are laughing means you clearly arent ready, you should stick to driving virtual cars and playing with plastic instruments :coolugh:
