Any advice? I need to get accurate colors. I can spend about $300. My macbook screen just doesn't seem to be cutting it. :wtc:

The 11tybillion:1 ratios on tvs aren't real world numbers.

Would this one be better? Cheaper, 22" and 1000:1 (though apparently it doesn't matter)

I had a westinghouse 22" that had a 300:1 ratio - that shit sucked balls.

    s-ips > tn panels.

your macbook probably has an s-ips panel, and will display colors much more accurately. however, you probably won't find an s-ips panel for less than $300. wikipedia has lots of info on this.

if you want a good monitor, then I recommend you steer clear of dell.

I think the cheap one is a TN panel though.
