SRS So I made the call today to detox from alcohol

    I've put it off long enough. It was a tough decision but it has to be done. I'm waiting for the call to tell me when I check in.

    Hey man, good luck. This is a big step and probably a very difficult decision to make. It honestly can only get better from here, believe me.

    Well, I was released this afternoon from Glenbeigh, a chemical dependecy hospital in NE Ohio.

    I spent about 4 days in detox and the rest of the time doing their inpatient program which I would recommend to anyone serious about drying out once and for all.

    I'm not done yet. I need to set up my IOP program, check out different meetings and get a sponsor. I feel and look better now than I could ever have imagined.

    Oh yeah, I also quit smoking 12 days ago against my counselor's recommendation. That's been the hardest part now that I'm home.

    well if u have to smoke again its better then drinking again
