kind of a short barrel on that thing. Bigsnake on this board has one of those, i'm sure he can fill you in on his likes/dislikes.

i almost made an impulse buy on a bolt action yesterday.....money just burning a hole in my pocket.

My dad and grandpa both have a ruger 22 pistol, so I guess I felt a little left out. Dad's is a MkI and Grandpas is a MkII .22/45. Mine will change considerrably whenever the parts become available :big grin:

I want an MKII.. I think its one of those "must have" guns in everyones collection. My uncle has one with a holosite and wood grips with a thumb rest, ohhh soo sweet!

Like eWRXshun said, I have a MkII 22/45.

If you want to look at new barrels for the thing, tactical solution has some that just drop onto the gun. I want to get one in the future when I have some extra cash. Just can't decide which one.

I was on their site yesterday looking at barrels for my 10/22 and saw those.....bought the pistol on the way home

At this rate I'm never going to finish my 10/22 :uh:

I've also been looking at the SoLow scope mounts....this thing is gonna get expensive

Never seen that mount before. I believe the tac sol barrels have a rail on the top to mount scopes, etc. to though.

They come pre-drilled I believe, but the rail is an option.....I just don't like how high scopes usually sit on pistols :dunno:

The only question is do I want the green or red pac-lite? :o

I wonder what the difference in accuracy between their 3" and 4.5" barrel would be? I like the way that 3"' looks

Beware. You used to be able to drop the MK III pistols on the load chamber indicator and it would fire the round in the chamber. Maybe they fixed the problem but I haven't heard that they did.

you wont be able to buy the barrel/receiver combo for the 22/45 until you're 21.

Some safety measure....I think I'll take a rubber mallet with me when I go shoot it to see if I can make that happen

I read somewhere yesterday someone refer to it as a secondary firing pin but didn't understand what they were talking about. I get it now...Maybe I'll attach a lanyard to it so I can't drop it :mamoru:

Got it at Academy for $299 tax included.

I took it apart and now I can't get the freaking main spring housing back in....It keeps hitting the hammer and pushing it in the way:( I was gonna go shoot it but apparently I'm too stupid to put it back together:mad:

Yeah, but I thought I'd try it anyway :o

I just ordered the kit that makes it super easy.....So I'll be able to shoot it in about 4 days

I even took it to the range and the guy in the shop said he didn't know how to do it......I said, "Then what good are you", and walked out :mamoru:

I was going to buy a Mark II and then got my revolver instead, one of the factors that was a turn off is the cleaning, but I heard after you do it a few times it gets easier
