This is a continuation of: http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=1824476

EKG tests are still abnormal, but I'm told not to worry because there was an "acceptable" variance in terms of what is normal and what isn't. I don't have an arrhythmia for sure.

    Stress test was normal.

Nuclear medicine results were lost :wtf: Chances of blockage are pretty slim, though.

All blood work came back normal.

The official diagnosis seems to be anxiety attack, partially induced by the stimulants mentioned in the original thread. I've been advised to seek therapy as soon as possible. I know that I've dealt with anxiety issues all my life, the cardiologist told me that while I've been able to hide my anxiety, the body's defenses eventually lower and people freak out like i did last week.

I was told that if I don't seek therapy, the attacks will become more frequent and severe.

I'm going to give my regular doc a call tomorrow. I'm about due for a physical, so I'll ask him for a referral at that point.

Strangely enough, I went in to his office with chest pain and shortness of breath, here I am 2 hours removed and I feel like I can go for a jog.. Strange what stress can do to a person :(

Glad to hear its nothing too serious. The anxiety should be something that should be easy to control with the right medications.
