So i just got home from the gym, is it ok to go swim now?

    Or would it just be counter productive in building muscle? Iv been resting for roughly 2 hours, over lunch. I pretty much don't feel sore, is it ok to go do other excersise, or would it just reduce muscle growth?

    Oh ok, its only 1pm, so yeh, more or less everything from the 3rd item down is lunch.

    I went to visit my highschool varsity team's practice today and I ended up swimming a bit with the team. The coach was still pissed that I didnt swim this year though. :o

    I know one of the big rules for bulking is go to the gym, home, food, rest. But im wondering how much rest do you need, Im concerned if i continue to swim (which is quite the upper body workout in itself), it will counter the work put in, in the gym.

    u need to really eat more if u want to get stronger and put on muscle

    Just dont do it all out for 2 hours. Everything is good in moderation. Just remmeber that if you burn calories you need to replace them by eating more food.

    I would worry more about your diet.

    And remember - if you burn cals while swimming (which you will), then remember to eat even more.

    I'll try to get some protein supplement from work tommorow. Its so expensive to get my diet right :o

    Wow unless you are 100 lbs im willing to bet you wont gain on 1500 cals.
