    Fill in the blank v.recommendmeanime

Ok so I'm not a Anime fanatic but the list below is the Anime's I've enjoyed. From the list just think about any anime that feels left out of the list which is similar in style for me....

    Cowboy Bebop
    Gungrave (ep. 1-12 at least)
    Samurai Champloo
    Trigun
    Black Lagoon

    Macross: Frontier

Recent Anime I got into but didnt catch my attention:

Elfen Lied - too paranormal with the imaginary arms + kids
Ergo Proxy - Just weird for me. Might get back into it.
Eureka 7 - I enjoyed the Mech action but i hate anime with kids. Might get back into this one.
Capeto - Watched 6 episodes of this. Good theme but its like Naruto! takes way too long to get to one point. They should have shortened it to 23 episodes.

    Might start Gurren Lagann next

Edit 1: Ok I just watched about 3 episodes of TTGL and its not my cup of tea. Yeah it has a lot of action, big boobs, big guns, Mechs, the arogant big mouth, the sexy girl, then the little insecure boy. Typical.... seems like something a 13 boy would like where he just puts a game into his super nintendo, see's some instant satisfaction and starts blasting everyone. Very simple minded Jean Claude Van Damn Action movie stuff.

Starting on Darker than Black and Baccano

Baccano seems like Gungrave. Mafia style anime but set in America 1930's. amirite?

Kaze no Stigma? that shit looked like it was drawn in 2000, the story was down right horrible

as for Futakoi Alternative, I definitely think he would hate this.

kaze no stigma was ok. and that's coming from someone who isn't picky at all. it could've been so much better, or the fighting at least. i mean cmon, you have a fucking sword that spouts flames, it could've been much more stylized, but no all she does is fucking run right at them and swing it back and forth.

Oh god, you dropped Elfen Lied and Ergo Proxy??

I actually dropped Elfen Lied too for the same reason but then picked it back up because I kept hearing so many good things about it. I'm glad I did, it's now one of my favorites. Oh and they're all in college, so not quite kids :hs:

How far did you get in Ergo Proxy? It is a little wierd, but I liked it a lot. :dunno:

I also agree with Darker Than Black , it matches the other stuff you liked.
You might also wanna try Hellsing and Ghost in the Shell for more gun action.

Oh and if you hate anime with kids then don't watch TTGL, the main characters are kids.

If you're looking for the greatest amount of action, I strongly suggest you continue watching TTGL. If you can watch up to episode 8, I guarantee you'll love this series (based on what the shows you mentioned).

There's a reason why it's a sticky topic for months on end.

that's probably more because a mod loves it than it being that good. but it's still pretty good.

I stopped TTGL after episode 4, then I rewatched the next 4, and finished the series like 2 days later
