I dont know how many of you have comcast but ondemand does not offer PPV for UFC fights and I was curious if anyone knows anything about this.

Would be nice to see a UFC in HD for a change

That may be up to the local Comcast outlets.

They offered it here in HD, took it away for a few months, now its available in both.

They keep telling me they have no control over it and that it's the "on demand" service they use that wont broadcast it or something.

Makes me want to switch but they have the best internet and sattelite TV sucks because of storms

If you do cancel your comcast cable, see if you have another good cable internet option. Call and tell them you're a student, inquire about a discount. You usually don't need to pay for any cable, just the internet and usually at a reduced price. :bigthumb:

Errr, okay what I meant was you don't have to pay for basic cable to receive internet. They usually make this bullshit reason that you need to have basic cable in order to have internet. If you say you're a student it's like that for some reason doesn't apply anymore.

in south florida I used to be able to get the ppvs in hd but now that I moved I cant get them in HD and my building is pre wired with comcast and it comes for free so im not gonna buy DTV every month just for a ppv. There is how ever a way to work around it.

I had a DTV system at my hold house I stopped using so I hooked it up to my new place and I ordered the local channels package which is like 7 bux a month. Then when the PPV comes I order it. off my dtv in hd
