Keep my GTR and buy a B5 S4 as a daily driver, or....

Sell the GTR and buy an E46 M3/E39 M5 (leaning towards the M3) as my only car.....

If you can get a B5 S4 why not the M3 is one that much cheaper than the other?

I would get an M5 BTW.

Actually, I change my mind. If you can afford two cars.....I'd rather have two pretty decent cars like the ones you are considering than just one car.

Fair call, but perhaps car prices are a little different in Australia?

    2001 B5 S4 (used) - US$47,000
    2001 E39 M5 (used) - US$80,000
    2001 E46 M3 (used) - US$80,000
    2004 E46 M3 - US$110,000
    2004 B6 S4 - US$87,000

So my reasoning behind my choices were:

    1. I need a manual, so that rules out all AMGs
    2. B5 S4 is half the price of the E46 M3 of similar year (mainly because a 2001 B5 S4 is a superceded model, whereas the 2001 M3 is still current shape.
    3. I like the B6 S4, but I don't think it's worth AUD$120,000 new and there are no second hand ones on the market yet. The B5 S4 at half the price is a much better deal at this time.

Either I sell the GTR, and inject another $40k towards an M3, or keep the GTR and spend around $45k on a B5 S4...

Keep the GTR and buy the M3 ;)

But I can't justify having that much money tied up in cars :hs:

Yeah, but we don't have to pay $30,000 for the Certificate of Entitlement like the Singaporeans do :hs:

What are the prices of those cars I listed in the US?

Did you race the GTR at all, or just drove it?

Fully built engine, ran it in for 2000kms, then put it on the dyno for a final tune...

Took it to Eastern Creek Raceway the very next day, and the oil pump failed and resulted in a spun main bearing, warped crank and shrunken block

It's being rebuilt again as we speak...

I need a reliable car for a daily driver... I cannot belive the price difference between cars from the US And Australia... We're paying DOUBLE!!! :wtf:
