150/100 or something like that im 17 and very overweight. My doctor wants me to see a dietrician along with other things liek working out. Thing is i dont wanna pay for a dietrician or go to one. SO i was wondering how should i plan my meals to be more spread out during the day, and what should i eat to lose weight/blood pressure? Think you could help out OTF&N?

I'm surprised you're not already on medication if its that high.

Second, get off your ass and start exercising. Diet is important too but you're gonna need some kinda of cardio.

And read the stickies. The dietician isnt covered by insurance?

Seriously get on an elliptical or bike or something for 20 minutes a day at least. Or start walking, something.

How overweight are we talking about here?

The low-fat fad they're trying to force on people that need to lose weight or lower cholesterol levels isn't working very well, even when they prescribe it with meds. Trying to control your insulin levels might be a good alternative (with a somewhat low-fat, low-carb, high protein diet) because when your body releases insulin, it will go in an anabolic state and tell cells to release their cholesterol content in the bloodflow...
