    can this bitch run a 1080p movie? i know because of screen size it wouldnt be a difference between 720p but what about with an external monitor?

    It has the integrated graphics, right? Might be a bit of a stretch to run 1080p with the integrated graphics. Not really sure though. :dunno:

    No you cant. I can't even get my MB C2D to run 1080p. :( 1080i is the best I can do with Leopard 10.5.5

    It is an OS limitation. It isn't possible to offload h.264 on to the GPU which is fucking stupid. If you install boot camp and boot in to windows it will play it completely fine.

    how are they supporting Blu-Ray for the rumored 10.5.6 update on existing hardware?
