    You're fucking shaped weird.

I think it's your lack of shoulders and lats.

and my love handles dont help. i dont have broad shoulders to begin with. need to work on widening them and my lats, i guess.

i'm doing rippetoe right now which doesnt really have anything for lats or "side delts"

i stayed 196lbs for 6-8 months once, while working out 3 days a week and watching my bench go from 165 to 225, dips from 6 to 12+45lb plate, etc.

i'll be lucky if i can lean up and stay 235

no, i have a few standard weights that are done in even increments of lbs (25lbs, 35lbs, 45lbs) and a bunch of these damn weider ones that are done in even KG increments (20kg, 35kg, whatever) so they end up being 5.5lbs, 11lbs, 22lbs, shit like that.

i'd love to have your bodyshape (assuming stuck with narrow shoulders :hsd:)

i have the same problem as you of long torso + narrow shoulders but I'm much skinnier in the rib cage area... so I end up being pear shaped... rather than buff looking :hs:

yea your lack of lats is disturbingly not proportional to the rest of your body. With such a crazy mid-section, you need to build up your upper body.

    lookin good!

ouch. yeah, looks like nature has really delt you a rough hand. If aesthetics are you goal, i would build an entire program around trying to work around your naturally less the optimal proportions

not looking to be perfect or get on stage, just looking to be in shape and stronger. though i might add some pullups and side laterals to my current routine until i switch to some kind of bodybuilder routine.

edit: and i DO have some lats, they're just hidden behind my arms because of the narrow shoulders.

I hate to piss in your cherios, but if you leaned up to about 11% im guessing you would be 180ish. with the muscle you have right now.

Im cutting from 240 and im down to 198 and at 240 i was a lot learner then you are now.

sucks, but its true. When i hit 220, i thought i would be lean at 200. now that im 198, i realize ill be lucky to still top 190 reasonably ripped :wtc:

I don't agree. It depends on how he leans up.

Pics of you at 240 without a shirt? And even then.... you could have done alot wrong to lean out.

oh hell no, when i was 6'3 180 and probably 9%, i couldnt even look at 225 bench. i'd be lucky to bench 165. i can have abs at maybe 14% and 215-220lbs. i dont need striations.

ok so at 240 you had full abs and visable intercostals? Mind you hes hairy as well and if he was shaved would look twice as lean. So your built like me at 240 then...well fuck post up, didnt know there was so many freaks out here.

and when i said "lean up and stay 235", i didnt mean drop down to 8 or 10% at 235. any amount of getting leaner, if i stay at 235, is ok with me.

    :wtf: antihero

he looks fairly lean to me and i don't see him dropping anywhere close to 180 to get to 11%

In the pics you posted in Vag at 215 (or were you 205lbs) King is IMO actually leaner than you. Its just decieving because at the same height you're blessed with wider shoulders and relatively narrower hips .
