Purchased an iBook G4 from Pineapple Devil today.. this thing is pretty damn sweet. :coold:

I've got it all updated.. installed Firefox, Adium, Growl, NeoOffice, and done some of the stuff to free up space (deleting language files, etc)..

Now I just wish uTorrent would come out for Macs, and I think I'd be set.

safari has tabbed browsing, try reading the preferences to your programs before using them.

safari gets blind hate way too much :ugh2: :ugh2:

I fucking installed Firefox. I like Firefox. I'm using Firefox. You can let that bundle up your Apple logo'd panties all day long, but I really don't care.

No ive seen that thread. I didnt comment on it because it was an entire thread dedicated to it. But this thread was different. Who really cares what people use? It might not work as good as Opera, but the extensions on FF far outweighs the negatives. You like Opera...good for you use it, its a great browser.

One thing I learned in this forum is to never criticize Apple. Ever. (New to Mac crew less than a year ag).

i dont see how pointing out your ignorance makes me a fanboy

you said i dont like safari with 1 reason why, "i like tabbed browsing." so i pointed out safari has tabbed browsing, and that maybe you should read the preferences before you go flapping your dicksuckers about how you don't like something you clearly haven't even given a chance.

When Safari adds a popup blocker that can be given exclusions to certain sites and when it adds extensions, I'll consider it again. Till then, FF is what I use and like. Safari is a decent browser and I like the clean look, however, I cant understand how in this day and age the almighty Apple cant make a popup blocker that you can customize. Hell, even IE can do that. Its the number one reason it stays closed on all my Macs.
