and its not what i thought it would be. the ring diameter is waaaay too big (3/8ths) for my ear, and all in all i think it looks kinda gaudy. so i went back to the piercer and talked to her about changing it out, and she basically said that anything of a smaller diameter would be too curved to heal properly, and she wouldnt touch it again until next weekend at the earliest. bs or true?

btw this is my left ear, and i got a bar through my right eyebrow a week and a half ago, and its pretty much completely healed.

    what do you guys think?

It needs to be that big to heal I had a smaller ring in mine when I got it done and had to have it changed.

She's correct. The ring needs to be able to move so that it can heal properly. If it doesn't move then healing will most likely take longer and infection can set in easier because soap and cleaning agents can't work.

yes it needs to be that size, and as for your eyebrow, it is nowhere near healed. it may look it, but the inside isnt healed

the ring does not need to move to heal. 90% of most reputable piercers now recommend not moving your jewelry at all
