    and returned home with this:

Makarov clone, FEG PA-63, made in Hungary. That's all I know about it.

I'm impressed with this thing, especially for the price. AIM Surplus kicks ass, second gun I've bought from them. I need to find some 9x18 so I can try it out.

I had one in .380. Watch the webbing of your hands with this one.

I've noticed just from handling it that area is tight, especially with my somewhat large hands. I don't think I'll be able to put too many rounds through this thing in one day.

    indeed it is

 I'de like to get a Mak, my handgun collection would be substantially larger right now if NY allowed c&r pistols to be transfered like every other damn state.

    That's not too bad.

I saw one of these at a local shop next to a P-64 Polish Makarov and was liking the 2-tone look of the PA-63 but the P-64's smaller size. P-64 is like an inch or so shorter, it's a PPK clone.

Did AIM happen to have the Polish Mak there by any chance in stock? Or any other Mak for that matter. Also, where is AIM at? Do they have a website?

I'm pretty sure that this is the closest they have to a true Mak. Southernohiogun.com had some Polish Mak's last I checked, but I think they don't have a storefront, only ship to FFL which is why I've never bought anything from them, so I'm not positive.

Yeah I'd love to find a local place to where I don't have to deal with an FFL transfer but it's not looking good. LOL Where is AIM located at? I'm in Cincinnati so about how far is it from me?

It would be really close for you. Shoot up I75 to the Middletown/rt.122 exit and go west. Follow that to Breiel Blvd. and go left, second light is Lefferson rd, go right and you'll see it on the right.

So all they have there is what they have on their site or do they have a lot more there?

BTW: I did actually see this gun at Peterson's on Rt 42 here in Cincy. Although I do believe he wanted almost 200 for it and it wasn't in all that good of shape. Have you shot it yet?

I think that everything on the site is what they stock, but it changes every couple of weeks depending on what they locate. Always call before heading up there to make sure they have what you want in stock.

I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, a friend of mine works at one of the ranges here and said their 9x18 is $19 for a box of 50, so fuck that. Another friend lives 20 minutes from ammunitionstore.com's warehouse, so I'm going to have him pick me up some Brown Bear, 1,000 for $90 and bring it down next time he stops by.
