not really. I just want everything...

in all honesty, I want a portable softbox. the AB and the softbox aren't exactly practical and the uuuuuuuumbrella isn't a softbox. a decent softbox wouldn't hurt. :dunno:

what I'm contemplating right now, at this moment in time, is the choice between a 16mm fisheye to work w/ both cameras or a 10.5 fisheye for the D300 only. Not that it wouldn't work on the D700, I just don't want DX lenses on it... thats why I got rid of the ones I had. The $200+ price difference is bothering me and a Sigma or other 3rd party lenses are out of the question. :hs:

haven't looked at FX glass, are there no 3rd party lenses out there in FX format? Or just none that are worth a damn?

I would like Nikon glass. Last fixed aperture 3rd party lens I had (Sigma 24-70 2.8) was terrible wide open
