A&P So I finally took a picture I really like. C&C please

    I'm pretty new to the whole dslr scene. Haven't got much practice because im currently deployed and don't like takin it out because of the dust.

    Took this shot during my 18 days of leave. I'm not sure if it's my connection to the picture or the actual shot that I like so much. This is from outside a cabin that the girlfriend and I stayed at while I was home.

    as a rule of thumb some people say to leave extra space in front of your subject (the chairs) as opposed to behind it.

    i agree with it 99% of the time.

    yeah i think so.

    it generally makes for a better picture, especially for sports action shots or people turned in certain directions.

    are those chairs comfortable? they look tilted. maybe it's the uneven ground

    The chairs are left facing, thus, they would look better on the right side of the frame instead of the left. Also agree with most of what has already been said above.
