Nerd emo rant with FUCKING SPOILERS below:

Ive been busy, but i really dont know what took me so long to get to this game, i played through the other 3 multiple times and enjoyed each one, and the story, immensely.

Words cannot describe how fucking legendary this game is, i will list some of the reasons why i feel this way.

    - First of all the way Kojima makes you feel for Snake the entire way through is spectacular. This guy has fought battle after battle trying to save the world, and now hes fighting this last one as hes basically on his deathbed. As if that wasnt enough early in the story told hes gonna have to kill himself when its over, to save the world from the virus in his body.

    - At a perfect point in the game, they bring you back to shadow moses, and its done in this way where you really feel the significance, between the radio comm flashbacks and the musical score it gave me chills. It made me feel like i had been playing Snake for years and years, and that there was real history at shadow moses.

    - The last fight with liquid where they start by injecting eachother with the syringes, basically in a "i respect this moment, we hate eachother, we are brothers, lets finally finish this shit" kind of way. The fight itself is done in the oldschool CQC style with the music progressing from MGS1 through MGS4.

I could go on and on but i already feel like a douche :ugh:

cliffs: if you go into it with the right mindset, mgs4 is a masterpiece bros

lol that was pretty brutal on my wrist. Also trying to follow some of the cutscenes were hard to follow for so long. Otherwise an epic game all around, best gameplay of the series IMO

Pretty cool, the camo is great, customising weapons is fun, and sneaking arounb choking mother fuckers out is awesome.

Then again, I'm not a huge gamer, I just like playing games. Especially ones that let me customise shit

I just wish Kojima could actually tell a more concise, coherent story. The major points come across, but much if the story is unintelligible to me. It's all like "blah blah PMCs, blah blah FOXDIE, blah blah artificial aging, blah blah fried eggs.
