    :hsugh:

so i had a fawking killer chest workout today.

    Flat bench

    135x10
    135x10
    185x4
    235x6
    245x4
    245x4
    225x8.5
    185x10

    Incline dumbell bench

    65's x 10
    70's x 10
    85's x 4
    80's x 4
    65's x 8

Then i did dips and the pec deck machine 3 sets each

notice that set of 8.5? well i almost had 9, but i couldnt lock it out god damn it.

so i lowered the bar slowly down and rested it on my chest. Luckily a guy was working out right next to me... i simply looked over and quickly laughed and he came over and yanked it off of me.

No embarassment... it happened to be a new PR. i never work with a spot. dumb, but just the way i've always done it.

I pinned myself on my 5th rep of 135 a couple weeks ago, luckily a guy saw me and lowering the bar back down to my chest and he came and helped me. :o

    :bigthumb:

No shame man, what cracks me up is when you see a dude in the gym whom you've never seen there before come up stack some 45s on do 2 reps and drop it on himself. Clearly the guy never really works out. Usually you see these 16 yearold kids in there thinking they are strong pulling that off :mamoru:

It should work....but everyone wanting to use the power rack for squats or other excercises requiring the rack will hate you. :hs:

i've never been pinned under weight.

the embarassment of getting pinned forces me push up the last rep.

That's why I don't push myself to failure very much.

    Not hurting myself > ego

yeah... i wouldnt try benching over 300 without a spotter. even 250 lbs isnt a trivial amount of weight to get stuck under.

Let's see your will power move the bar when you're stapled to the bench and can't breathe.
