Forging a bottom end doesn't add power. Need details on heads/cam. Could be built with stock 243 heads

hes got unworked piece of shit 241's but a cam and big shot? So whats the lsa, duration etc on the cam? What intake does it have? Is he using a progessive shot or one big hit? You dont forge a bottom end and leave 241 castings and big cam on a big shot nitrous car LOL...

Hes gotta have fuel system and work done as well to walk a car that can trap just about 130 and weighs a shit ton less.. as well. Cars gotta be 550rwhp an tq or more just to hang esp from a roll on the highway.

oh really when i forged mine it was suddenly a 408 making 500rwhp with 8:5:1 compression lol.. added another 500rwhp with a tiny pt88

Come on now.. they dont put stock forged pistons back in, its gotta be honed, tq plated, balanced, plastergated..yada yada.. even if you only go slightly bigger its still gonna get ya hp... i forged mine with 3.905 je's before i went bigger motor and i made plenty more power just from blue printing/balancing and making everything more effcient.. plus a slightly bigger then stock bore..

not if those flow numbers he posted are at .28 water in the booth. I had em reworked as well and bigger valves with my first setup, just like these and i picked up 41 rwhp with right cam so... but i did it back in 2001 before any heads were out, maybe he did to. Or didnt want to spend 2-3k on etp or afr... etc

No shit. I was making the point that "built" doesn't automatically mean it's a stroked solid lifter monster. A lot of guys replace stock pieces with forged pieces and pick up no power but just want to be able to boost/spray more. Preaching to the choir

must be having a bad day.

Edit - wow lol you're REALLY misunderstanding what I'm saying. NO SHIT there aren't a lot of solid roller cars. It's when you say "built" people on the Internet like the guy who stated that he was surprised the z06 still pulled usually assume that "built" = insane setup. ALL I am saying is that is not usually the case. Fuck man.
