But uh.. so my GF spilled juice all over my SD1100 IS.

Thing still works  but the zoom switch and the 'mode' switch are very sticky and it's pissing me off.

Should I open 'er up and try to wipe these things down or is there some kind of shop that'll do this cheap?

could you try some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab? Just dampen the cotton swab and rub it around the switches so some of the alcohol seeps into the cracks and then hope that it dissolves whatever is making it sticky.

remove batteries, spray it with 'electrical contact cleaner' and let it dry completely before putting batteries back in.

If your afraid to open up the camera you can always spill some alcohol on the buttons and press them until its dry then do it a few more times and you might work the stickiness out of it. I do that all the time on things I can't open.
