May or may not have injured my knee again :wtc:

A couple of you know how good I am at fucking myself up. Got bursitis in my knee in basic, did my infantry course with that, including the last two weeks after it had exploded. Completely stupid, I know, but I dont quit easy. So they kicked me out of the infantry cause the docs wouldn't clear it (previous pre-military injuries to that knee, including an ACL tear). That was last august, took a while to get back into PT, then in January I broke my leg, lost a ligament in my ankle, and im just now feeling fit and running without pain.

So I went for a ruck march two nights ago, nothing special, a bit fast (7k in an hour) but I wasnt carrying too much, did a bit of running (<50m at a time) just to test the ankle and then when I was stretching I sort of 'tweaked' it. Feels like a fluid pocket again but it doesnt just come on like that, walking is okay, stairs are rough and so is anything involving bending, cant tell if its swollen cause my legs are different sizes (from the break).

How the hell do you older guys stay healthy? These are fuckin old man injuries. Im 22 and I can barely walk in the morning :o

Anyway, more of a vent than anything, just feel like a POS malingerer cause I know all the docs on base and half the medics  And im supposed to be leaving for my intelligence course after waiting for a year :hs:

We don't...those that do, are freaks of fucking nature.

2 broken feet, bum right knee, fucked up right shoulder that's a nuisance more than anything and a weak back (last one is my fault)

Damn man sorry to hear. I've been feelin good since my broken leg and knee injury, I'm hoping the injuries are done, but my military career hasn't even started.
