So I can't squat

    or do any movement at all resembling a squat

    i guess ill just go with leg extensions, ghr and rev hypers. :hs:

    I wish. The guys I train w/ only free squat for the last 4 weeks leading up to the meet.

    DO YOU GUYS DO MORE OR LESS OFF A BOX? I haven't free squatted in ages, but I'm pushing 475 for 2 off a 16" box

    Bitchin. Some people have a large carryover, others not so much. Only one way to find out

    525 :eek3: I'd shit my pants if I pushed that much up on a free squat

    I got my leg day on tuesday, and with some brand new joints hopefully everything will come together

    nothing to be proud of. I've pulled 495 one time in my life, and most of the time I'm lucky to pull 475

    More than 2x bodyweight is nothing to be ashamed of. 2x bodyweight is what I'm striving for on squat and deads before I cut.

    Squat and dead are both at 415 right. I've got some poundage to go, but I think I'll be at 500ish on both lifts sometime in Feb. My lower back and hammies are utterly pathetic. I use like 10 lbs on the reverse hyper and can only do 1 GHR with decent form :( I'm gonna start doing those bitches 3x a week though.

    do you have any demonstrations of those exercises? people on this website sweat those, and I don't think I've ever done them in my life (possibly reverse hyper)

    Yeah, there is a website with a bunch of videos of powerlifting related stuff. I get off work in like 5 minutes but I'll post the link when I get home.

    BTW anyone has any idea the carryover from oly squats to parallel squats?

    awesome, no reverse hyper @ my gym. I do GHR's all the time and didn't even know it
