Actual pics when I pick it up tomorrow.
Nice. I have an 05 titanium. get some euro signals and buy the kit from fenderkit.com, supports the kawi board
wow that kit makes a huge difference, and that color is so gorgeous,i might buy one too
be careful, take it easy, break the bike in the right way and don't ride beyond your limits....dont become a statistic.
...rant over.....have fun!
Definitely going to be riding with a healthy does of fear for a while, but I'll be damnned if I'm not excited.
I took the MSF course and have read everything I could get my hands on.
I'm not a Kawi fan but I must admit most of the blue, or black ones look pretty damn good. Now just dont be like all the squids I see everytime I'm in Fl shorts, flip flops, no shirt, no helmet, no gloves
I just went during lunch to buy my gloves and jacket (leather cortech, I like it), frame sliders, and I bought my helmet yesterday (HJC CL-15)
I got mine last wed!
Same color. I loves it!
I've ridden before but this is the first bike that's mine.
Financed through my credit union. Similar to the kiwi loan where I pay like $80/month for the first two years. I got the bike for a bit cheaper because of a connection I had at the dealership.
I'll probably be dropping $200 a month on it for as long as I can to pay it off quicker.
I'll have it paid off in the next 2 years though.
I've been with the credit union for a while. I just asked for a motorcycle loan.
that flat blue looks so sick in person
How much did you pay out the door for it.
Mine was 8700 after everything.
Respect the bike, don't fear it.
Nice choice on the bike. The only other bike I would buy besides an R6.
In fact, when the '05 636 came out I was very close to trading my R6 in on it.
definately a nice bike...am I the only one here that doesn't like the color. I'm not feelin the 06 blue. I mean I have the 05 titanium and it has the same flat color which I think is awesome but for some reason it does not fit the blue very well. good choice though and ride safe.
a little less because I got the destination charge and dealer charge waved.
I didn't like the blue in pictures, but I think it looks incredible in person. The titanium is sick - I wish they would have it without the flames this year.
It was more a fear as in "Fear the Lord". I'm not worried about the bike smiting me for my sins, but so far when I've gone on it I've kept in mind that it can kick my ass whenever it wants to.
I feel the same way.
That matte blue color just doesn't look like a sportbike color. It looks like it would fit on a sport-touring bike but it's just not a very "aggressive" color...
Congrats she looks good in the pictures so I can only imagine in person. Can't wait to ride it.
the matte blue looks a lot better in person...looks weird in picture for some reason
congrats on the bike...ride safe...dont be a squid like that dude that wreck his brand new 6r and got amputated
Linky or pics??
I'm being as careful as possible and always wearing the gear.
I think it's a good thing that I have the break it period. It doesn't really let me do anything stupid.
