    for an online store :noes:

Site is not up yet; although I have a pretty good idea of what I want.

Coincidentally, I may need some design work very soon :o

well we can't advertise services on OT without buying an advertising subscription, but TWL is full of talented people.. or at least sparsely populated with them.

I think my main thing, if I go at this alone, is just some tips and such on using php and mysql. I have never used anything more in depth than FTP, and I once made a website on geocities :o:hsugh:

i'd recommend against PHP, and go with ASP.NET

but everyone has their own choice. As far as the real world goes, you'll go alot of farther with a microsoft technology.

when ASP no longer outputs shit code.. maybe. if you have any C or VB programming experience, ASP is certainly easier, but it's not going to take you "farther"

the .NET technologies will take you farther in the Enterprise workplace, that's for sure. There are a lot more .net jobs than php (at least locally) and they all pay more.
