So I am gonna jump off the deep end and start to sell my prints
    am I selling myself short by offering 5 x 7 's for $10 and 8 X 10 for $15 ?

my photos can be seen here.

I am gonna print off my "top 10" as 5 x 7's to kind of feel the water.
gonna sell them to my co-workers cuz most will only want that size to keep on their desk or whatever.

what do you guys think ?

Do it, no matter what people think. It's all in how you come across and represent yourself. Hell my dad has been selling prints like crazy and all he uses is a 2 year old HP point and shoot.

selling prints like that is a waste of time... I'd tell you how to really make a lot of money selling fine art prints but that'd be almost as dumb as giving you pictures of my automotive photography rig.

yeah.. good luck. they definately aren't bad.. but they aren't like "OMG WOW I MUST BUY THAT"

it's one thing for people to say they like you work and express interest. but when the time comes... see how many people actually 'buy' them.

you won't make much (if any) from selling photos like that one by one. You gotta specialize in something.. wedding.. automotive.. commercial.. and have hook-ups and what not

I'd have to agree, I think you have a good artistic eye, and these photos are pretty good, but i wouldn't say as far as buying it.
