Sounds fun. Any reference pages or anything to could forward? I've thought of working on one eventually.

I want to get an AK in 7.62x25 that takes suomi mags. Those are cheap as hell right now. Like $20 a drum

I'd love to build a ppsh41, but no one really makes recievers for them. Don't you have to re-weld the ATF cuts to make the reciever?

Well you both obviously care enough to post in the thread. If you really didn't care you'd just not post.

I was thinkig about buying a kit for one for a future build.

Still working on the mg34 though. The front weld is 1.5mm to long and the back 1.5mm short. Looks like I half to cut it apart and reweld it. It will work eventually.

Who the fuck makes them? I know that Blue Ridge Precision Gunworks made the SR-41, which was a clone, but they had a metric fuckload of problems. There are still a few SR barrels and receivers floating around, but I wouldnt trust them for a build. Is someone making new ppsh receivers? Because if they are I'll buy two of em TOMORROW.

I dont think I've seen complete ones for sale but I have seen 80%'s from a couple different sources. How good they are I don't know, don't know anyone who's built one. I did shoot a SR-41 once that belonged to some guy at the range he said it ran well now but he had to do some tweaks when he first got it.
