Causally talking to people in the waiting room. This woman sitting across from me looks over and ask "are you in the military"? I reply that I am. She quickly says "so is my husband, he is a pilot, flies the B1B", and then makes the bitchiest Mrs. Queen Superior look I have ever seen. I casually reply back "that's cool". Well, I guess this woman was feeling pretty good about her place in life, and wanted to prove how great her life is and how I am shit compared to her, so she ask what did I do in the Army. I knew full well she was expecting me to be enlisted, so I took a few seconds to build the drama before replying "I'm a pilot, I fly the AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopter". I wish I could have taken a picture of her face, it was like a bag of smashed assholes. Bitch grabbed her purse and said she need to go get something to eat. God I hate officer wives.

    Cliffs:
Officers wife tries to prove her superiority
I break her down like a timed M16 disassembly drill
    I hate officers wives

I can understand being proud of your SO's accomplishments, but the wives that think they are their husbands rank drive me insane.

I wish I could have seen her face, at least she knew enough to feel like shit after you told her that. I bet her husband made fun of her later too

unfortunately true - the wives club in my squadron is....cliquish to say the least. i don't deal with them much since i'm not married, but i've heard the horror stories about how they shun girlfriends and fiances, and even some of the more "accomplished" wives (they're threatened by any woman with some motivation of her own). i make every effort to avoid squadron "family" functions - mostly so i don't have to hear the drama and put up with their hellish offspring (i've honestly never seen so many badly behaved children till i met our wives club).

so.........yeah, point is i'll take that spear for our community (wish i knew the pilot though so i could give him shit)

I think it is the military wives in general. Sure you get the few who enjoy staying home with the kiddos and are going to school or already have a degree. But for the most part they are cliquish, rude, and fat. A lot of the wives only work to escape their own children. The wives with degrees usally stay home or explore other degress of education and home school their children because public schools are horrible here. That is just the enlisted side; I can see how the other side would be crazy and snobish but the elisted get the cream of the trailer park crop.

    :) HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

My favorite is how your superiors expect you to treat their wives as they outrank you.

I have another officers wife story.

My wife works at the base gym. A few weeks back this woman comes to the front desk and ask to speak to the manager. My wife ask her what was the problem and she replied "there is a woman working out in nothing but a sports bra. My husband is an officer and does not need to see that. I am an officer's wife, and feel that he should not see that when he is at the gym". My wife calmly sat there as this woman went on and on about how she is an officers wife, how her husband is an officer, and that she is important. Seriously, why do people act like that? Of course this woman was the stereotypical fatty spouse.

No, the woman was in proper gym attire. I racked it up to jealousy.

I like how she said "My husband doesn't need to see that..."

He's not going to cheat on her with the girl at the gym. He's going to cheat with someone further away.

As good as it is going to get. I have full ROM in all directions except internal rotation, I am limited to 70% ROM internally. Maintenance of the shoulder will be part of my life for now on. Could be worse I guess.

LOL, there is that word warrant before the word officer, it's a technicality.
