[now that I have your attention ] There was a lady that was obviously new to shooting 2 lanes down from me at an outdoor range I shoot at. We were at 50 yards and I was shooting my scoped 10/22. The way the lanes are set up is there's a bench for each shooter and they're all covered by some sort of shelter. The shelter extends about 5 yards downrange and is supported by a bunch of wooden beams that you shoot between. The area is obviously off limits and it's full of empty casings and ammo boxes people drop. The RO says to shoot off what you got and then there will be a cease fire. I had a freshly loaded mag so I just kept shooting and I thought I heard something in front of me. I look down and the crazy bitch was crawling RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME WHILE I WAS SHOOTING. She was chasing her targets that the wind blew. If I hadn't seen her and she stood up she would have gotten it in the head. The RO had a field day with her and her idiot boyfriend. He was off smoking and didn't give her any instruction other than showing her how to hold his hi-point 9mm carbine. After the RO called cease fire I pulled my targets and left. My question is, if someone is obviously at fault and disobeying clearly defined safety rules and gets shot, is the shooter liable at all?
