    here's my diet;

    meal 1
    chicken breast
    banana
    rice
    water

    meal 2
    whey protein shake

    meal 3
    same as 1

    meal 4
    same as 2

    meal 5
    same as 1

    meal 6
    same as 2

Im eating roughly 2100 calories or more by the end of the day. Im actually bulking, but Im doing a clean bulk so I can lose my fucking belly. Any thoughts or ideas? The number above is just an estimation, it depends if I snack on anything in between such as almonds, fruits, veggies, cottage cheese, etc...

Each meal isnt accurately measured when it is cooked, but each meal I consume a lot. A pack of chicken breast lasts me 1.5 - 2 days. So I dont really have an accurate measurement of what Im intaking. I know that it isnt anything dirty.

you are speaking in abstract terms homie, mainly because there is no direct conversion rate from calories to inches. Get an exact count of your caloric intake, and then do the math of expenditure vs. intake. If you are spending more calories than you are consuming, you will lose weight. as you lose weight, you will lose inches.

How on earth are you going to manage to eat that every day for a few weeks or even a few months? I'd get bored with that in a week!

Post some more information. What's your BMR? What's your protein intake? What's your exercise routine? How much cardio are you getting a week?

    :roflw:

I'd bored of that in less than a week.

I consulted my magic 8 ball and it said "results hazy ask again later"

so I went upstairs and talked to our engineers. With the great information in your post they were able to determine that it will take approximately 115 days 3 hours 20 minutes and 15 seconds.

    I work out 5 days a week:
    mon - chest, tris
    tues - back, lats
    wed - quads, hams
    thurs - shoulders, calves
    fri - chest, tris
    sat-sun - off

My cardio is basically warming up, 5 mins on treadmill all 5 days.

The food, I cook/prepare them differently throughout the week so if I get bored of one dish, I prepare another differently. Every meal also includes veggies and fruits. Fruits and veggies vary from day to day. I may include some snack in between meals, like fruits with cottage cheese, almonds, beef jerky, peanut butter, etc...

My protein intake is roughly 190-200g /day. I currently weigh in at 153lbs standing at around 5'7. I weighed 125lbs ~5 months ago. During the past 5 months I was dirty bulking, all fast food.

I'll try to get an accurate measurement of my caloric intake this week and post them up.

I'll update this thread as soon as I get everything measured.

This question may have been asked in the past but can I lose body fat without losing muscle in the process? My goal is to be at 165 or 170 with a bmi of around 7-8%, but leaner is always better.

enough with the "rough" measurements. get a food scale and start an account at www.fitday.com to track cals and macros

and you're 5'7", 153 with a belly? that doesn't really sound right, and i think we're gonna need pics for an accurate diagnosis.

that being said, it IS possible to lose fat without losing (much, if any) muscle or strength... Maine posted an article about it about half a dozen times and it's a good read

My belly isnt really that big, but its noticeable, even when I have a shirt on. :hs:

Maybe Im just not used to seeing a belly on me. Everytime I have a shirt on in public I suck in my stomach so it looks flatter than it really is. :mamoru:

Isnt BMI a measurement of body fat based on height and weight? Shouldnt I be measuring that? :dunno:

Ok, my BMR is 1693.29 so that means I need 2625 calories to maintain my weight.

thanks for that fitday site! :bigthumb:

I plugged in my numbers and here's what I got. :hs:

    Cals 1895
    Fat 24
    Carb 241
    Prot 211

Those are the totals. Fuck, I thought I was eating enough. Please tell me which area I need to increase in and decrease in. I know I need to increase my caloric intake, but Im not sure about fat and carb. Carb seems kind of high to me. :eek4: :wtc:
It looks like I need to at least add another 1000g of calories to at least maintain my weight. It looks like I need to double up on the chicken. :wtc:

exactly...lower your carbs, raise your protein maybe try some fiber-y foods...like black beans, whole grains instead of white rice...they contain protein, and the "carbs" aren't so much from sugar...because they are fiber.

um... well... that's not exactly what i meant

calories are important and macro ratios are important as well... i was starving myself basically, but i wasn't eating the right things. wasn't getting nearly enough protein and my carbs were too high
