So, how badly am I sabotaging my diet by eating cereal a couple times a week?

    I'm following Pur's workout and diet, but I caved and had a bowl of cheerios (with 2% milk) this afternoon. Is it really that big a deal?

    I eat cereal with skim milk for breakfast, 5 days out of the week. Alternate between cherios, special k w/ berries and frosted mini wheats.

    I eat Wheaties, Total High Protein, or Honey Bunches of oats with almonds...5 days a week for breakfast.....

    :shrug: and I have lost 18 pounds in 6 weeks...but Im a fattie :(

    jesus fuck dude your actually worried over a bowl of cereal? on top of that the cereal your eating is actually pretty healthy for you. come in here and bitch after you polished of a box of pizza after coming back from jack in the box while you swallowed half gallon of ice cream. even that wont hurt you if its only one day.

    When you ate the cereal is more important that the fact that you ate it. If you ate it after dinner or for breakfast it will do far more damage than the middle of the day. Check the article on the Anafit Diet the AFBoard. It explains how your insulin spike from the cereal is the diet killer. Mainly because that cereal shuts down all fat burning in body because your body won't burn fat in the presence of insulin.
