    I haven't really done any work so far to really focus on my abs. I tried to put together a weighted quick routine but I could barely do anything. So I'm going to keep trying 8 minute abs until I can do the whole routine through without stopping. But it's hard to benchmark where I really am because my neck gets tired way faster than my abdominals. :hs: So, 8 minute abs FTL, or 8 minute abs FTW? Is it worth it just trying to do body weight exercises, or should I really try to stick it out with the weights until I can actually do a full set? :hs:

    Deads and squats work out abs really good too.

    So I should be doing them in reps/sets with weights?

    Train them the same as any other bodypart. Weighted, 4 sets, pyramid up in weight etc.
    I too have completely useless ab definition when I dont train weighted. I cant pinch fat on my stomach yet, I can barely see ab definition up close.
    For a noticable differance, all I do is add some weighted (on a decline bench) ab crunches (in front and to the sides), then I do some leg lifts with a 25 pound weight inbetween my feet. I try do it 3 times a week for 4 sets of 10 each. Usually within one week there is a noticable differance.

    yes, do them twice a week...
    Example:
    weighted leg raise 5x5 or 4x6 or 5x3 or some shit, with a good amount of weight, but where you can still keep your form, and do the exercise...
    Weigghhted situps, plate, quarter, tens what the fuck ever, on your head/ behind ur head...
    Ab pulldown shit, hold the tricep rope, and sorta do a crunch
