You should pull the pin out of a frag grenade just in case someone tries to run up and knife you.

Seriously, did it sound like a full shot or more like a cap gun? Something I need to know when my press finally gets here.

I got it working I had to "adjust" the case feeder. I pulled the pin out of the sizing die. So I load primed cases. Insert bullet on 3rd stage. No problems mon.

Decapping is quick on my single stage. I can prime while I watch tv.

They tell you to wear safety glasses. Fuck that I think earplugs are better.

Check out youtube, there's lots of videos that show how smooth it can be. I'm debating a turret or hand press :big grin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOpN9iYOyE8

LOL, been there, done that. I've hear of entire primer tubes blowing up.

them little fuckers are a lot louder than you think huh. lol

don't take their size for granted, the primer is the most deadliest element in the components of bullet making.

Lesson to all, ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN RELOADING. I do.

I'll keep this is mind when I start reloading, if the primer goes off everyone else in the house including the dog will soil themselves.

I think my dog was asleep upstairs. I reload in the basement.

I've got a small closet area of the front bedroom/office that is the gun room and every time I open the door the dog relocates to a different room. My GF adopted the dog several years ago and it is clear that if you yell at it, it is absolutely prettified someone used to beat it and for some reason it know what guns are. :squint: I can't even take a pellet or airsoft shot at a squirrel if the dog is awake and on the same floor of the house as me.

If a primer went off in the house it would take hours to calm the poor thing down.

That's awesome. I had no idea that the turret presses auto changed with each pull of the handle. Is this standard with the lee classic turret, or is it an add on? I think I may get this instead of the Pro 1000, cause I want to do .308, which can't be done on the pro 1000.
